About Ortwein Sign – Over 100 Years of Custom Signage Solutions
For more than a century, Ortwein Sign has partnered with businesses across the nation to design, build, and install signage that elevates their brand. Since 1923, our commitment to craftsmanship, innovation, and customer-first service has made us a trusted name in commercial signage for local companies and national brands alike.
Our Story: A Century of Craftsmanship & Innovation
Founded in Chattanooga in 1923, Ortwein Sign began as a small shop focused on handcrafted business signs. Over the decades, we’ve grown into a nationally recognized signage provider, with a sign shop in Chattanooga and a sign shop in Nashville, leading projects that range from local storefronts to large-scale stadium and corporate installations. Our mission has remained the same: to help businesses stand out with signage that delivers lasting impact.
