Why you should consider wrapping your commercial vehicles?

One of the most effective means of advertising your business is with car wraps.  This means installing digitally printed, promotional graphics on the outside of the vehicle.  In a survey conducted by Outdoor Advertising Magazine it was reported that 96% of survey respondents thought mobile advertising is more effective than traditional outdoor advertising with billboards.

The reason for this was the distance that their business vehicles traveled in a day’s time in the areas where they serviced and the number of prospective customers that would view such advertisement.  With the average promotional vehicle wrap lasting 5+ years, this type of signage is not only one of the most effective but one of the most economical choices you can make as well.

What is a Vehicle Wrap?

In essence it is a large custom graphic sticker that covers your vehicle and promotes your business. Ortwein digitally prints your graphics and content onto an adhesive vinyl and applies it to the painted areas of your vehicle. For the window areas a special material is used for safe visibility from within the vehicle.

Will a Vehicle Wrap damage the paint upon removal?

Vehicle wraps applied by Ortwein Sign will not damage your vehicles factory paint as long as it is removed within 5 years of installation. We do not recommend applying vehicle wraps to aftermarket paint as most are not able to achieve the hardness of a factory original paint application.  In most cases, a vehicle wrap actually protects your factory paint job and should help retain a greater used vehicle value.

What types of vehicles do you wrap?

Ortwein has wrapped box trucks, service vans, pick-up trucks, trailers, motorcycles, cars, SUVs and boats, to most recently a full body wrap on a brand new Jeep Wrangler turning it into a University of Tennessee Volunteer Sports icon rolling around the streets of East Tennessee. We have a saying that “if it rolls, floats or flies, Ortwein can wrap it.”

How much does a car wrap costs?

It is the famous answer “it depends.” How large is the vehicle; what are you wanting done, etc.; however, in most cases our client projects run between as little as $500 to $3000. Now don’t expect to pull your 18 wheeler in the parking lot and get a full body wrap for that price, just saying.

Where can I get my Vehicle Wrap design?

Ortwein can use your current artwork or work with your own or third party designers. We have found that many designers have never designed for vehicles, so we have several designers of our own that help clients and their designers or create from the very beginning that eye catching design that sets that memorable image in your target customers mind.
