We’re excited to welcome Amber Scarbrough to the Ortwein Sign team as our account representative for greater Birmingham. Amber is a Birmingham-area native with nearly a decade in sign sales, and she’s the person to call for sign work anywhere in the Birmingham metro.
A Sign Industry Veteran
Amber has spent more than nine years in sign sales, guiding business customers from the first conversation to the finished install. Before that, she worked three years as a project manager. She also holds an associate degree in Engineering Technology from Wallace State Community College in Hanceville.
That combination means Amber can talk with you about your brand and also understand what it takes to engineer, permit, fabricate and install your sign.
Serving Greater Birmingham
Amber will work with businesses across the Birmingham area that are opening, relocating, rebranding or updating their locations. She covers the full range of signage, from storefront channel letters and monument signs to electronic message centers and interior wayfinding.

Get to Know Amber
Amber grew up in the Birmingham area and is glad to be back serving her hometown. She and her husband, Dustin, share their home with a tuxedo cat named Winnie, and when she isn’t working, Amber is usually planning their next trip. She has a knack for interior design and loves helping friends and family plan new spaces, and that eye carries over to helping businesses choose signs that fit their brand. She also serves as co-sponsorship chair for Young Tuscaloosa, a young professionals group of the West Alabama Chamber of Commerce.
What drew her to Ortwein Sign? The people and the core values. And what she loves about the sign business is that no two days are the same: “If you think you know everything, think again!”
